- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆I recently changed jobs and my prior company did not take my 2 weeks notice. I was strapped and had to borrow money. I deposited bank checks from another credit union they partner with. Safe America ca still put holds on them over 4 days! They would only reverse one of the late fees. I'm out 60.00 while I see the money in but not available. There are plenty of challenges with using a Credit Union, you hope when a situation like this occurs, you would think they would help out when the check was in and funds there.By Erin Estrada, January 09, 2017
